Day 2 of our PE home learning. It’s been brilliant to see so many ‘healthy selfies’, keep sending them through and sharing, to inspire others 😊! Below in the comments section is my own attempt. Enjoy https://t.co/lgFzVS8OpS

Reception Wraparound Care

From September 2019 Chobham Academy will provide an Early Years Breakfast Club and After School Club for children in the Reception year group.

Our goal is to provide all children within our care with a happy, safe, caring and stimulating environment before and after school. It is our aim to treat each child as an individual, encourage them in everything they do (independence with an invisible guiding hand). We will always provide a quality service, and will continually look for ways to improve the quality and services offered.

The Breakfast and Afterschool Club is a team effort, sharing responsibilities with families to provide the best care for the children. Any needs or issues are openly and confidentially discussed. Please feel free to contact us to discuss anything or pass on information.

Late collection of children at Extended Day Care

We would like to acknowledge and thank the vast majority of parents/carers who always collect their children by 6pm. Unfortunately however, we have been experiencing a problem with late collections in a number of cases. It is our legal responsibility to provide two staff members to stay behind with any child who has not been collected. This causes inconvenience to the staff members affected and incurs a staffing cost to the academy.

From Tuesday 3rd March 2020, the following will apply:

  • If it is the first occasion of late collection and the parent/carer has notified the School by 5pm, no charge will be made for supervision until 6.10pm.
  • After the first occasion, failure to collect your child after 6 pm will result in a £1 charge per every minute that you are late to cover the overtime paid to Chobham staff. The late fee is capped at £30.00.
  • Late fees should be paid in cash when your child is collected.
  • The academy will make a referral to social services at 6pm if no contact can be made with the parent/carer.

Booking

Before you can start using the Wraparound service you need to register by completing the below online registration form. A separate registration form is needed for each child as the details may differ.

Only once payment has been made and a start date has been confirmed with the office will your child be able to join the wraparound service.

We require 14 days notice to cancel a booking otherwise you will still be charged. Please contact the school office if you have any specific circumstances you feel we should be aware of.
